Liberia’s FY2026 Supplementary Budget adds US$53 million to the country’s approved budget, increasing the total from US$1.2497 billion to US$1.3027 billion. But where is this additional money coming from, and where is it going? BudgIT’s analysis examines the composition of the supplementary budget, revealing that US$48 million comes from World Bank financing, including a delayed FY2025 tranche and new FY2026 support, while US$5 million comes from domestic revenue collected above the FY2025 target.
